We had our second volunteer day to complete putting up the festoon lighting around our little garden. They are now all strung up around the trees, utilising some old bicycle tyres around the trees themselves to prevent any damage and allow space for the trees to grow. The lights look absolutely amazing. The photos don't do them justice. Alison led the team of John, Chris and Alan putting up the lights leaving Janet and Jennie to do some gardening. We managed to plant the potatoes bins, position the strawberry pots and doing a good bit of tidying up. Thanks to John, Chris, Alan and Janet for giving their time to help us.
